Once you make your purchase/donation, First Tee – Greater Detroit will provide information regarding your contribution along with the estimated value of the goods and services you received. The excess of your contribution above the fair market value of the goods and services that you received may qualify as a tax-deductible charitable contribution as permitted by law.

There will be a memorial bench revealed at the 14th Hole on the New Course to kick off the day. Once registered, all participants will be asked to proceed to the 14th Hole by 9:45AM for the official kick off event at 10:00AM. There will be a few appearances and speeches. Once wrapped, all golfers will be asked to make their way to their assigned starting hole to officially start the tournament by 11:00AM.
All players will have an opportunity to see and take photos by the bench when coming through the 14th Hole. A photographer will be stationed there throughout the day to take foursome photos.
We’d love your help! Please email info@donshane.com and you will be contacted for further information. We’ll need volunteers throughout the day to help with set-up, registration and check-in, various hole contests and more. If you are a volunteer, you do not need to buy a ticket for the event and all meals will be covered.

There are limited tickets available for the dinner and awards reception. Tickets are $150 per person and include Clubhouse entry at 4:00PM, dinner, open bar, an awards presentation and more. Please email info@donshane.com with your interest and you will be contacted with more information.
Indianwood Golf & Country Club requires all participants to adhere to a proper dress code. Standard golf attire is required at all times. No denim, tank tops, t-shirts or flip flops are allowed for men or women. All shorts must be acceptable golf attire, no swim trunks. Hats are allowed and must face forward at all times.
All shoes must be proper golf shoes for golf activities. No baseball cleats, cowboy boots or dress shoes with heels on the golf course.
This dress code applies to all participants and volunteers.
A branded golf polo is available to purchase through the site, the deadline to purchase is July 15th. Each polo (men and women’s) is $150. Once purchased, you will be contacted for sizing information. The polo will be shipped to you ahead of the tournament or can be picked up at registration.
